A Busy few months

It's been a busy few months, so I've not had chance to post!

I had the grand opening of my lovely shedio on my BIG birthday in June!

I then had a big party at the local pub to celebrate! The pub put on vegan food for all of my guests, chickpea curry and mixed bean chilli. I also had a big table of vegan cakes!

I hired a rock band to play outside, and my friends surprised me with a banner to hang on the stage!!!
Then it was off to the Isle of Mann for TT week!

Straight after the Isle of Mann, it was on to Donington for Download Festival!
Then over the last couple of months we've fit in several gigs, and a return trip to the Isle of Man for the Manx Grand Prix!
Finally got back to the torch yesterday...

Phew, that was a bit of a long post! I'll try not to leave it too long next time!!!

Shedio progress and more lampies!

Well the shedio is progressing very well. It's painted, the bench is installed, and the electrics are well underway. Exciting times!!!

And I've been busy at the torch....

Spring is on it's way

As the buds begin to appear, and the daffs start to push up through the soil, I'm drawn to florals and spring like colours...

I've also been trying a bit more fusing, but that's another story for another day!
A few trials and tribulations, so much so that I've just booked myself on a fusing class!!!

Take 3 colours - no more, no less....

This weekend I set myself a challenge, to select just 3 colours and work with them.
It was a good way of focusing my efforts, and one I'll repeat with a different pallette!

What do you think?

More tumbling!

I'm just loving the tumbler I got for Christmas! I can't stop making beads to tumble at the moment!!!

They certainly brighten up a rainy February day!!!

The end of Tax return season!

Well, I celebrated the end of tax return season with 3 days at my torch! What better way to relax!

I also got chance to play with the tumbler I got for Christmas. I love the finish it gives my beads. They are like etched beads, but with no nasty chemicals to work with.

"Sea Glass"

"Stoned"

And a few other makes...
